Browser timing limits

ClockWest relies on your device clock, operating system time settings and browser runtime. Timers, Pomodoro sessions, alarms, countdowns and stopwatches can be affected by inactive-tab throttling, device sleep, low-power modes, memory pressure, browser extensions and system clock changes.

Critical-use restriction

Do not use ClockWest as the only timing source for medical, legal, aviation, transport, financial, emergency, laboratory, industrial or safety-critical activities. Use certified, dedicated or official timing sources for those purposes.

World time accuracy

World time displays rely on the IANA time zone data available to your browser and operating system. Keep your device updated to improve daylight-saving and time-zone rule accuracy.

Best practice

For normal everyday tasks, compare the ClockWest display with your device clock before starting. For business meetings across time zones, confirm the calendar invitation time after copying a city time. For deadlines, alarms or regulated activities, use the official time source required by the relevant organization.
